In 1850 JS Harford honeymooned in Italy, which was already familiar to his bride Mary von Bunsen, daughter of the Prussian ambassador to St. James’s. Built over 150 years ago within the Victorian era.

The building is friendly and warm – the complete antithesis of the gloomy mansion, and sits comfortably within its surroundings as these photos show.
