It is of great importance to us that we support our local producers and suppliers.

We have face-to-face interaction with the majority of our suppliers and are proud to call them our friends. Here is a list of some of our friends: -

 

Birchgrove Eggs

Gwen and Tony have been established for over thirty years and enjoy a reputation for their eggs quality, service and innovation. Birchgrove eggs are all free range, and assured under the RSPCA Freedom Food scheme, which ensures that the highest standards of welfare, hygiene and environmental practices.

Caws Cenarth Cheese Artisan cheesemakers just over the border in Carmarthenshire. Their creation the Golden Cenarth picked up the Supreme Champion at the 2010 British cheese awards along with Best Semi Soft cheese and Best Welsh Cheese.  Golden Cenarth
Caws Teifi Cheese Teifi farmhouse cheeses are true artisan cheesemakers who make a range of award winning unpasteurised cheeses from hard to soft cheeses. Llanllyr Water Llanllyr SOURCE is one of the world's premium quality bottled waters. It comes from sources beneath certified organic fields on Llanllyr farm near Talsarn. Maesyffin Mushrooms Maesyffin Mushrooms have been growing their award-winning organic Shiitake mushrooms in rural West Wales since 2003. The mushrooms grow on fruiting blocks made mainly from locally-sourced oak and are cultivated in a system developed by Humungus Fungus. Chris Hicks Chris fishes in Cardigan Bay and lands his boat near Aberaeron. He provides us with fabulous lobster, brown crab and spider crabs. If you see these on the menu - think of Chris in his boat  We will try and get a photo the next time he delivers in his yellow waders.
Briwsion The chef at The Falcondale makes his own bread, but your toast and sliced bread for sandwiches will have been made by Briwsion in Lampeter.  
Dewi James A butcher in Cardigan this local butcher sources their meat from farms within Ceredigion and bordering county of Carmarthenshire.  
Cooper and Parish A specialist catering butchery business owned by farmer Llew Rees. It´s direct connection with farming provides access to some of the finest quality livestock in the country, largely farmed on the Preseli Mountains of Pembrokeshire.  
Jones and Davies Fruit and vegetable wholesalers based near Llandysul.  
Castell Howell Brian started his company from his own farm shed and now runs one of the largest leading independant food wholesalers. They are dedicated to supporting the smaller producers within Wales, providing them with a network for delivering their goods.  Castell Howell
